Peppol

Peppol mandatory?
We’ve got you covered!

Since 1 January 2026, Belgian businesses send and receive invoices between each other via Peppol. Chuck takes care of it: start for free, with nothing to install.

What is Peppol?

Peppol is a European network for exchanging electronic invoices between businesses. Instead of a PDF by email, a structured invoice goes straight into your customer’s system. Faster, with fewer errors and ready for your accounts.

Who does the requirement apply to?

  • All VAT-registered businesses in Belgium, for invoices to other Belgian businesses.
  • Since 1 April 2026, fines may be imposed: €1,500, €3,000 and €5,000 for repeated offences.
  • From 2028, this will also include e-reporting to the VAT administration.
